Want to know where "420" REALLY came from? It was California Bill Number SB 420 passed in 2003 originating from the Compassionate Act of 1996 which basically legalized medical marijuana and that doctors who prescribed it wouldn't get arrested for it. In 2003 everyone had to be issued an ID medical card to show that you were a medical user, so back then everyone was spreading the word, "Vote YES to Bill 420".
After the bill passed and to keep it going, those numbers simply turned into the date 4/20 and time 4:20 stuck, and that's all . . . except,
